For the past two months, I have been debating with myself over an important issue. My cellphone is eligible for an upgrade but if I get a new phone now I have to pay for it. If I wait until April, it’s free. I hated my LG Dare [because its crappy] and couldn’t decide if I wanted to shovel out 50 bucks to upgrade to the LG Ally or if I should be patient.
So Monday evening, I was using the internet on my phone as normal when I decided to close out. No matter how much I tried the end button would not work so I took out the battery and tried to turn it back on. I didn’t think about the fact that the end button is also the power button. Sadly, this meant I could not turn my phone back on. I tried everything but nothing worked.
The next day mt lovely boyfriend took me to the Verizon store. Thankfully I have insurance so I thought trading in would be no problem. I was wrong. Apparently my warranty expired and there is a deductible to trade my phone in. Guess how much it is? Yep, you guessed it! 5O BUX!
Now I refuse to pay 50 dollars to get another crappy phone (this is my 5th LG Dare. Every one I get glitches up) when I can get a brand new one for the same price. The coincidence is too great to say its simply chance so I have decided that God must have killed my old phone so that I would be forced to get this pretty new thing!
It’s a pretty awesome phone! The best thing about it is the keyboard. I send about 4000 text messages a month and being able to use a physical keyboard makes it AWESOOOOOME! I haven’t really explored the phone yet so I’m not sure the ins and outs of but it’s awesomeness shall suffice for now.
I must go now. A text message needs me 🙂
